We are looking for a Business Development Officer to join our team in Labrador City, NL.

Job duties include:

• Monitors project bidding opportunities, reviews bidding documents, and prepares project bids.
• Assist with the preparation and coordination of business plans.
• Coordinates and recommends direction to Nunacor on business financing sources.
• Promotes Nunacor, subsidiary companies and strategic partnerships to possible clients as well as at business events.
• Researches, analyzes, and identifies new business opportunities.
• Prepares detailed progress reports.
• Maintains communication with key partners and clients.
• Other business development duties and operational support as required.

Requirements:

• Successfully completed post secondary education in business administration, marketing, finance or similar field of study; or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working with mining companies and/or industrial projects is an asset.
• Must have valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Must provide certificate of conduct.
• Must be willing to travel regularly to Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL.
