Nunacor is looking for a Construction Labourer to join our team (temporary, full time).
Job duties include, but not limited to:
- Perform tasks that require physical labour such as moving materials and property repairs
- Install drywall, plaster, and paint
- Install various flooring
- Construct petition walls
- Install doors and windows
- Install insulation and vapour barrier
- Load and unload building materials, machinery, and tools
- Maintain a clean and safety working environment
Requirements:
- Must provide own tools and equipment
- Ability to manage time accordingly
- Must have a valid Class 05 drivers license and access to a vehicle
- Prior construction and labour experience is an asset
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Must be meticulous and goal oriented
- Fall Arrest training is an asset
Candidates must be unemployed and interested in construction and labour work. This is a temporary position, with possibility of extension (minimum of 15 weeks). Preference will be given to members of NunatuKavut. This position is for 35 hours per week at $22 per hour.
