At the TakeCHARGE NL Luminary Awards in St. John’s, NL today, Nunacor has been awarded the Leadership Award (Organization) for our energy efficiency efforts. We have made strong progress in our mission to become a more energy efficient company and are delighted to receive recognition for our efforts through our Makik Sustainability Initiative.

Our Makik Sustainability Initiative was launched just a year ago and is our commitment to the environment and to the health and wellness of our people. These commitments are broken down into actions plans across each of our business operations.

The TakeCHARGE NL Luminary Awards recognize organisations’ efficiency endeavors and desire to lead our communities forward in promoting energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
