Nunacor Development Corporation is seeking dynamic, entrepreneurial, and business-savvy leaders to join our Board of Directors. As a board member, you’ll work closely with our leadership team to set strategic goals, objectives, and priorities that align with Nunacor’s mission.
Purpose:
To provide governance, policy oversight, and leadership, while promoting Nunacor’s mission and advancing its growth.
Term Length: 3 years with option for reappointment.
Board Member Expectations:
- Attend at least 6 meetings annually, including two in-person meetings held throughout Labrador.
- Actively promote and communicate Nunacor’s mission and initiatives to the community.
- Gain a strong understanding of Nunacor’s finances, budget, and resource needs.
- Be familiar with the organization’s policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the development and prioritization of strategic initiatives.
Other Details:
- Board of Directors positions are voluntary, with honorarium and travel expenses covered.
