We are looking for a Business Development Assistant to join our team (anticipatory position).
Job duties include:
- Assist with the preparation and coordination of Nunacor business plans.
- Coordinates and recommends direction on available financing sources for business activities.
- Researches, analyzes, and monitors labor market data in NunatuKavut Community Council (NCC) territory.
- Assist with the preparation of detailed progress reports.
- Maintains contact with Nunacor strategic partners.
- Monitors bidding opportunities and coordinates RFP responses.
- Represents Nunacor at various business events.
- Other business development duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Successfully completed post secondary education in business administration, human resource development, finance or similar field of study; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
Candidates must be unemployed and interested in business development. This is a temporary position, with possibility of extension. We are an equal opportunity employer.
