Seasonal Maintenance Worker – Komatik Real Estate

Term: 13 weeks (starting May 19, 2026)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Wage: $24 per hour

Komatik Real Estate is seeking a dependable and motivated Seasonal Maintenance Worker to support property operations during the upcoming season.  This role is well suited to an individual who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining clean and safe environments, and is capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and minor repairs on residential and commercial properties
• Carry out landscaping duties, including mowing, raking, trimming, watering, and general grounds upkeep
• Complete painting, plastering, staining, and general cleaning tasks
• Collect and transport garbage to designated landfill sites
• Sweep and maintain parking lots, walkways, and patios
• Clean carpets and wash windows as required
• Install shelving, fixtures, and artwork
• Move equipment, supplies, and furniture as needed
• Conduct routine cleaning and preventative maintenance of vents and fans
• Ensure all properties are safe, clean, and well-presented
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance or general labour experience is considered an asset
• Ability to safely operate basic tools and equipment; access to personal tools is an asset
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
