The Fat Quarter shop is a mobile shop on wheels who specializes in modern to contemporary fabric, from bright and colourful prints, to gorgeous low volume collections. We carry a wide range of fabrics, notions, patterns and a large variety of quilting kits.
Classes are an important part of our business, so we run quilting classes for all skill levels from beginner to advanced and we are also planning quilting retreats for all levels.
In class, I teach 3 quilts at a time. The classes run for a duration of 7 weeks and by the end of those 7 weeks, they are able to construct and finish a beautiful quilt. From how to operate their machine and cutting fabrics to piecing their fabric together, they learn all the techniques required for quilting.
